A Southern Coastal Getaway!
Having tirelessly worked to save lives during the pandemic, Drs. Sam Chidubem and Concita Jimenez hope to build a soothing seaside oasis in South Carlolina for their fellow healthcare workers.
"The ocean is healing," Dr. Jimenez told TMB. "Sam and I are big believers in the power of a home to provide comfort, love and support."
Their go-to colors? Beige and turquoise with cheerful pops of yellow.
A Safe Space for LGBTQIA2S+ Teens
Retired teachers Joel and Sean wanted to design a ranch where bullied LGBTQIA2S+ teens could connect with the beauty of New Mexico's nature. "As educators and gay men ourselves, Joel and I have witnessed and survived adolescent intolerance," Sean told TMB. "But all that hatred dissipates in the awesome presence of mountains and under the Big Sky!"
Their go-to colors? Empowering purple and bold reds.

Think you can't afford a mountain retreat a shush away from a Vermont ski slope? Think again. Holly and Robbert landed this $1,000,000 estate at tax sale for a little more than the cost of Honda Civic - and now they're turning it into a 100% green and energy-efficient "cabin."
" Our rebuild reflects a whole new way of approaching home construction in the era of climate change," Robert told us.
